ENJOY EVERY MOMENT AS IF IT WAS THE LAST ONE

This autumn has been quite extraordinary. I have been surprised so many times. It started in September when I found a fresh raspberry and was thinking for myself “I will really enjoy this one since it for sure is gonna be the last fresh raspberry I eat this season!” Then a few days later I found another, and I thought “Wow, one more! I will really enjoy this one since it probably will be the last fresh raspberry I eat this season!” And then I found a third fresh ripe raspberry and said to myself “Well, I will enjoy this one, but I might find one or two more this season.” And so I did.

The same goes for blueberries. In the end of October I was visiting my mums place at the countryside and found that there were still blueberries to pick in the forest. So in the morning I went up in the woods to pick some for breakfast. I ate slowly, in gratefulness for nature and the ability to eat fresh blueberries that day. I said to myself “Well, this is probably gonna be the last time I eat fresh blueberries for breakfast this year.” And then about two weeks ago when I once more visited my mum, I once more had the opportunity to pick fresh blueberries for breakfast. You know what I said to myself this time? “Mmmm, I wonder what sweeties I will find tomorrow?”
